The Mini 5 Pro keeps everything under 250 grams and skips the telephoto. The tracking quality gap between them is smaller than you'd expect from the $326 price difference.

The Mini 5 Pro if weight, portability, and no FAA registration are priorities. The tracking quality is essentially the same (both use LiDAR + ActiveTrack 360°), and the 1-inch sensor produces comparable wide-angle footage. The Air 3S if you want the telephoto lens, longer battery, and Cycling Mode. The extra $326 buys a second camera and 9 more minutes of flight time. For dedicated follow-me use during cycling or extended hikes, those additions justify the weight and cost.
