About Paul
I started Dronesgator in 2015 (originally as DronesBuyer.com) after buying my first toy drone and realizing how hard it was to find honest, detailed comparisons. I rebranded to Dronesgator.com in 2017 and have been reviewing, comparing, and writing about drones ever since.
Over the years, I built a YouTube channel with 17,000+ subscribers and 195 drone review videos, covering everything from budget quadcopters under $50 to professional camera drones. I got my FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate to deepen my understanding of airspace regulations, which also informs our drone law coverage across 50 US states and 20+ countries.
My approach to drone analysis is data-driven. Rather than relying on a single reviewer's opinion, I aggregate specs, real owner feedback, and expert analysis from across the internet. Every drone on this site goes through the same process so you get a complete picture, not just one person's take.
Dronesgator is operated by Neural Labs SRL, a technology company I founded. My background in UX and SEO helps me build tools that are genuinely useful for drone pilots, not just content pages.
Note: Some of my earlier guest posts and publications (2016-2017) were written under the pen name Paul Archer, including articles on Digital Photography School and Chris Jones Blog.

Quick Stats
I started this site because finding honest drone info was harder than it should be. Every drone here gets the same data-driven treatment so you can compare fairly and buy confidently.
